Not really my usual cuppa since I enjoy the NA/A Romance more but I still enjoyed it. I'm sure you will too no matter what your age is. And as a teenager myself, I understand her. Sure, there are a lot of lies and sneaking around that happened but it was great how she realized how bad that was.

I was touched by how much persistent she can be. Maybe because I've been in her situation but Kristine Asselin really wrote a believable teenager who is struggling to make her own dreams happen. It was amazing how much I relate to Penelope. Her parents have a different idea for her when it comes to the career she'll be pursuing. So why am I saying this? Its because of our main character's situation. But as much as they love us- there are still some unavoidable agreements that bounds to happen. I love that they have our best interest in their hearts. I like that while it's cute and adorable it also deals with serious and important stuff. Sally and her husband live in Dallas, Texas, with their children and grandchildren nearby.This book has 'adorable' written all over it. It also satisfies her own curiosity about the world. It reminds her of a treasure hunt, especially when it uncovers off-beat facts that nobody else knows. Her favorite part of writing nonfiction is doing research. When she left the classroom to raise her own son and daughter, writing nonfiction became a way to continue educating children. Her years of teaching gave her desire to help children learn. Her interest in children's literature began at the University of Missouri where she received her degree in education. Sally Lee is the author of numerous nonfiction books for readers from kindergarten through high school.

Kristine lives in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts with her husband and daughter.

She loves doing workshops and talking about reading and writing with both kids and adults. Kris volunteers with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, and loves Harry Potter, Doctor Who, classic rock from the 70's and 80's, and anything with a time travel theme. She is the author of more than fifteen children's books for the elementary school library market and her debut YA novel ANY WAY YOU SLICE IT (Bloomsbury Spark) came out in April 2015.
